Blankfaces x Euphorius Logo White.png

For this project we were briefed by the Blankfaces, a Glasgow-based social enterprise, to create a collection inspired by the stories and experiences of people experiencing homelessness.

I based my collection on the stories of homeless LGBT+ people; it's a topic that's close to my heart as a queer person, and I think the stories I read would strike a chord with every kid who's had to come out to their parents and felt that awful paranoia that they won't be accepted, that they'll be kicked out for something they never chose. It's a very real and very terrifying situation for someone to be in, and it's awful that it happens even now, even here, in a country where it's comparatively very safe to be openly queer and big companies have jumped on the 'trend' of supporting us.

I'm honoured to say the Empty Pride collection was chosen by the Blankfaces to be put into production. The timeline has been delayed by the pandemic, but is finally launching as part of the Queer Cash In campaign!

The collection was also shown at the Revival Charity Fashion Show and Compass Charity Fashion Show, and has been featured by Nefarious Contemporary in The Witching Hour II, which you can find here.
