Heriot-Watt hosted an exhibition at the end of the semester for us to showcase our collections to the public and for the Blankfaces to judge. I was honoured to have my illustration featured on the official invitation and signage.
I am even more honoured to say that my collection was chosen to go into production!
This project took so much work and it means so much to me, so it's incredible to know that it's going to be out there on the Blankfaces' shelves raising awareness about homeless LGBT+ youth in Scotland and calling out the high street retailers who use queer imagery for profit without lifting a finger to actually help, all while making a difference and setting a positive example by sending profits from the collection to a charity that will.
